local historians- East Molesey- Church Road

Postby admin on Wed Aug 08, 2007 8:24 am

Does anyone know of a historian who can help me with research into the Church Road, East Molesey, for example, Thursley Cottage and many of the other houses at the river end of the road, were once the site of a huge orchard.I was interested to know if it had any connections with the old horse race course or the 2 Victorian properties now known as The Royal Cambridge Home.Alternatively, are there any records that will unravel the history? Any suggestions gratefully received.
